Do you know the state of your pelvic floor? Are you aware of the responsibilities it has?

Julie Blamphin is here to talk about pelvic floor wellness and why it is vital to a healthy lifestyle.

Julie is the founder of Celebrate the Pelvic Floor and is a Pelvic Floor Yoga Teacher.

Growing up in western New York in her mother’s school of gymnastics, Julie began teaching in 1981 with a primary focus on yoga posing. Since her entrepreneurial launch of Stretch Your Spirit in 2009, she inspires through her work with Celebrate the Pelvic Floor. Currently, Julie helps women find joy and stability through yoga, breath work, laughter, and fascia release. 

Julie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and professional certifications as Sport Yoga Instructor (NESTA, 2009), Yoga Teacher (YogaFit, 2010), Laughter Yoga Leader (Laughter Yoga International, 2014), and Pelvic Floor Yoga Teacher (Pelvic Floor Yoga, 2019).

We are talking about what the pelvic floor is responsible for, how it affects us physically and emotionally, the importance of breath work to help heal pain and more.
