Mindfulness, Hope, and Health Education

37: How Mindfulness, Hope, and Health Education Can Heal You with Elissa Goodman

You could be eating the right diet, exercising, and doing all of the “right” things, but if you are stressed and not prioritizing yourself, none of that matters.

My guest in this episode, Elissa Goodman, knows all about this, so she is joining me to share her incredible story.

Elissa Goodman is a Holistic Nutritionist & Cleanse Expert, and she is the bestselling author of “Cancer Hacks”.

Personal health and educating others on their health and wellness have been passions of Elissa’s for many years. She has had issues with her health for her entire life culminating in cancer and Hashimoto’s in her 30’s. Beyond her own health, she has also struggled while watching various loved ones suffer from health-related issues, including her husband Marc who lost his battle to cancer in his mid-40’s.

Now, Elissa is on a mission to educate and encourage healthy, mindful living and to help others embrace the concept that we are a product of what we eat and how we treat ourselves.

In Today’s Episode We Discuss:

  • The negative impacts of stress on the body
  • Hope as an important piece of the healing journey
  • The connection between your physical and emotional health
  • The many healing benefits of various fruits and vegetables
  • How hydration plays a part in your health
  • The pros and cons of a vegan diet and intermittent fasting
  • The benefits of gratitude journaling for stress relief

I am constantly amazed by stories like Elissa’s. The body is so miraculous, and it is so empowering to know that we are able to heal our bodies by listening to what we need and taking action on it.

There are so many beautiful things out there to heal us, so I really encourage you to explore the many avenues that are available. Listen to your intuition when exploring the options – you know what you need!
