04 Apr 68: How to Rid Your Environment of Toxins So Your Body Can Function Better with Kelly Carpenter
Did you know that many commonly used products are filled with toxins?
Many people don’t realize that the products they are using every day may contain chemicals that could be harmful to their health. After a while, your body can reach a tipping point which can cause autoimmune diseases, infertility, or even cancer.
In this episode of The Dr. Kinney Show, I sat down with Kelly Carpenter to talk about the things you need to detox in your life to improve your health and decrease your risk of diseases.
Kelly is a holistic lifestyle coach and toxin educator. She helps people detox their lives and homes through lifestyle transformation.
According to studies, the average woman exposes herself to over 150 chemicals before she even leaves the house in the morning. There are toxins in your skincare, hair products, makeup, food, water, cleaning supplies and so much more.
In Today’s Episode We Discuss:
- How many commonly used items have toxins in them
- The impact exposure to toxins has on our health
- Things you should detox in your home
- Why you should detox one thing at a time
- Why fragrance is so harmful
- Labeling laws and green-washing
Just because something says that it is good for you in marketing materials doesn’t mean it actually is. There is so much that goes into any product, so it is so important to do your research. Educating yourself on toxins in the products around you is the first step to detoxing your life and improving your health.
Knowledge is power. The more you know, the more you can make informed decisions about what products you use.
