29 Aug 89: How To Shift Your Mindset, Be More Consistent, and Hold Yourself Accountable to Reach Your Health Goals with Emily Maciejewski
Do you ever struggle with accountability?
When you set health goals, it’s easy to fall off track. You don’t want to give up on yourself, you want to finally reach the goals you have been trying to achieve. However, you won’t always have the motivation to keep going, so what can you do?
In this week’s episode of The Dr. Kinney Show, I sat down with Emily Maciejewski, a health coach who works in my office, to talk about how to hold yourself accountable and actually reach the health goals you set for yourself so you can feel amazing about your body and your health.
Emily has been in the health and wellness industry for 10 years. She is passionate about helping her clients create a positive and supportive space for people to honor their needs. As a holistic health coach, she loves helping clients examine their relationship with food, movement, and mindset. Emily aims to meet each client where they are in their journey. Practicing a holistic approach to health and wellness means that she looks at every area of your life, and how they are connected. There is no one size fits all approach when it comes to health and wellness, so she hopes to guide people through transforming their lives based on their individual needs.
In addition to providing a deep and meaningful coaching experience to her clients, she also serves to mentor, inspire, guide, motivate, and hold them accountable to achieve their goals and implement the positive choices they’ve identified in their lives. Emily’s background in health and wellness comes from years of playing sports. She is a certified personal trainer and 200 hr RYT. Her focus is on fueling the body with whole, nutritious foods to benefit your lifestyle. When Emily isn’t training, you can find her on a beach or somewhere outdoors with her husband Todd, daughter Addison, and dog Lenni!
If you want to make a change in your body, you have to be consistent for a decent amount of time. There just isn’t a way around it. No matter what you’re trying to do, whether it is trying to lose weight, heal your gut, balance your hormones, etc., you have to give it at least three months for your body to adjust.
