Leaning Into Your Faith

23: Leaning Into Your Faith for the Benefit of Yourself and Others with Christa Hannon

Are you leaning into your faith and following your calling?

I am talking to Christa Hannon in this episode, and we are covering how her journey and her relationship with God have helped her not only change her own life but be an inspiration to other women.

Christa Hannon has her Master’s in Early Childhood Curriculum Instruction. However, after her oldest daughter was born, she decided to stay home with her instead of going back to teaching. At that same time, she decided to pursue her passion for health and fitness. She became a certified Personal Trainer and started teaching fitness classes.

About 6 years ago, Christa became a Health & Fitness Coach because she absolutely loves to help other women with their Health & Fitness goals. Currently, she is starting to teach new online barre classes via zoom!

We have such an insightful conversation about how faith can lead you to your calling and the power of prayer which are topics that I am really glad to be covering on the show.

In Today’s Episode We Discuss:

  • Overcoming low self-esteem as a woman
  • Making changes little by little
  • The negative effects of worrying about your health
  • When you help others, you help yourself
  • Using community and fellowship to serve others
  • Involving your kids in your passions
  • The importance and power of prayer

No matter what your faith practice is, I highly encourage you to lean into it. I have seen it be really beneficial for my patients and myself.

The most important thing is that you have the understanding that there is a higher power that loves you unconditionally. You don’t have to do anything all alone.

I highly recommend you look into some of the resources and books we talked about in this episode if you enjoyed this conversation as well as connect with Christa on Instagram and Facebook.
