Do you or have you struggled with sleep training your kids? There are quite a few sleep training methods to choose from, it’s hard to know which is the right one.

Dedicated to providing tired parents with excellent sleep advice and coaching while knowing Kim could not help everyone herself, she started the Gentle Sleep Coach® Training and Certification program in 2010–the first and most comprehensive training program in the world. This program was the start of what is now a global industry- Baby and Child Sleep Consultants. To date, the Gentle Sleep Coach Training and Certification program is available in 3 languages.
In Today’s Episode We Discuss:
- Following a schedule versus following cues
- How good sleep can transform the health of a baby and a family
- The three different types of sleep training methods
- When you shouldn’t be doing sleep training
- How to adjust schedules accordingly
There are really only three sleep training methods to pick from – extinction, gradual extinction, and parental fading. You have to figure out what works best for you and what works best for your child and your family.
If this is something your family is struggling with, Kim has tons of resources for you, so reach out to her or purchase one of her many books. Remember, there is no reason to suffer through this!
