I started working with Emily at a time when I was looking for education and support with some new Nutrition goals I had after a consultation with Dr. Kinney. I wanted to eliminate gluten and dairy from my diet while still providing the necessary nutrition to fuel my busy, athletic, active lifestyle. Emily did a wonderful job tailoring a plan just for me that was easy to follow and realistic in regards to "limitations" and opportunities as it related to my diet. She provided a number of alternative options that helped me to substitute some of the things that were making me feel bloated, swollen and just uncomfortable in general.
These simple substitutions were a game changer as I saw my weight drop, my inches reduce and my mind become clearer about what I was putting in my body. With these alternative options, I am still able to entertain a house full of company with delicious, healthy foods. I feed my family recipes they love that also fit my dietary goals. I have the tools to make smart choices when I'm out at a restaurant that don't make me feel like I"m missing out on anything or making sacrifices. At 43 years old I feel the best I have since my 20's and I know my body is a reflection of that, and I owe so much of that to Emily for her education, support and coaching.
Working with Emily throughout the 12 weeks of the accountability program was exactly what I needed! I went in thinking she would help me to be accountable for my food choices but actually she helped me be accountable for my EMOTIONS which led to my food choices . I always looked forward to each session! Not only is Emily super sweet and extremely knowledgeable, but she was so much fun to chat with…She made each session truly enjoyable, and allowed me to really focus on what I needed most ( even when it was hard!) Thank you Emily for giving me the tools I needed to create healthier habits for myself ❤️
