The Connection Between Stealth Infections and Your Hormone Levels

76: The Connection Between Stealth Infections and Your Hormone Levels

Have you ever wondered if your hormones are out of balance?

This is a really important topic and something that I talk a lot about with my patients. Many women come in and say that something is going on with their hormones. They may not know which hormones are out of whack, but they know it has to do with their hormones and they need help.

In this episode of The Dr. Kinney Show, I am sharing everything you need to know about stealth infections and the endocrine system, a.k.a.- your hormones. Many times these imbalances are caused by a stealth infection that’s been slowly wreaking havoc on your body.

When you have issues with your hormones, your doctor needs to do a full panel on you to see if you might have any low-grade infections causing stress on your body and negatively impacting your health.

In Today’s Episode We Discuss:

  • How hormone imbalances could be a result of an infection
  • How stress affects your hormones
  • Low-grade infections to check for
  • How Covid affects your hormones
  • What’s included in hormonal work-ups

I hope you found this episode helpful. You don’t have to live with these symptoms. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t be afraid to ask your provider to go deeper. Tell them what tests you want done and what things you want to look into.

Get these tests done and get to the bottom of it so that you can finally start to heal. If you don’t feel like your provider supports you or understands, it’s okay to find a new one! Life is too short and your health is too important to let this slide. Be your own biggest advocate!
