61: The Secret to a Better Digestive System with Lisa Consiglio Ryan

Many women are stressed out. By that, I mean their stress levels are through the roof! Stress impacts our body in numerous ways, and one of the biggest ones is our digestion. When we are stressed, it can make it difficult for our bodies to digest the food we eat. This can lead to many diseases that could have been prevented.

Juicing is a simple and effective way to not only help your digestive system but help you quickly get some of those nutrients and antioxidants that you are lacking. But what is juicing? Juicing is a process that extracts juices from fresh fruits and vegetables. When you drink it, you are benefited from delicious and nutritious ingredients that give your body an incredible health boost.

In this episode of The Dr. Kinney Show, I sat down with my dear friend Lisa Consiglio Ryan from Rasa Juice to talk about the benefits of juicing and how you can get started incorporating it into your diet.

Lisa Consiglio Ryan is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, award-winning author of the best-selling cookbook, Go Clean, Sexy You, and sustainable lifestyle shop founder- RASA juice shop in downtown Annapolis. As a nationally acclaimed wellness expert and speaker, Lisa has worked with tens of thousands in her wellness programs online as well as in person, allowing individuals to customize their wellness and develop ownership for a loving, respectful relationship with their bodies.

In addition to her consulting practice, Whole Health Designs, LLC, and her brick-and-mortar shop, RASA juice, Lisa leads workshops and retreats nationally as well as in Costa Rica.

In Today’s Episode We Discuss:

  • Lisa’s health journey and how it led her to holistic wellness and nutrition
  • How stress impacts digestion
  • The healing powers of juicing
  • The nutrients that can give you energy
  • How drinking juice every day can impact your mood

Juicing can not only improve your health and heal certain diseases, but it can also greatly improve your mood and boost your energy. You won’t even need coffee anymore! What’s not to love?

If you’re interested in learning more about Rasa Juice, check out Lisa’s website or follow her on Instagram. She shares tons of good information about different juices and the parts of your body that they support.

I hope this episode inspired you to look more into juicing and all of its incredible health benefits!
