09 May 73: Tips For Making Your Menopausal Years Your Best Years with Linda Stephens
How do you feel about menopause?
Menopause brings big changes and it can be very frustrating for women to navigate. So many people get fixated on all of the negative aspects of going through this phase of life that they forget to celebrate all of the things that are great about it.
In this episode of The Dr. Kinney Show, I am sitting down with Linda Stephens to talk about all things menopause. She’s sharing her tips for adjusting to menopause by setting healthy routines, listening to your body’s cues, and giving it the proper fuel.
Linda’s primary focus is working with midlife women (over 40/50 and beyond) to help them achieve confidence, exude sexiness, and feel comfortable in their own skin again. Her motto is, “midlife should be the bridge to your new life”.
Linda has developed a comprehensive 12-week program that she teaches virtually to women around the globe called “Midlife Mastery”. Linda guides women by enlightening them on how their bodies change post 35 years old. Women in the program learn how to eat, move, meditate, perform self-affirmations, and what supplements are key at this point in a woman’s life for hormone balance, longevity, mood, and weight loss.
Linda holds her master’s degree in nutrition, competes as an IFBB Figure Pro, and is a NASM certified personal trainer. Linda writes for Darien Neighbors Magazine, The Darien Times, Muscle and Fitness Hers, Oxygen magazine and has contributed to Strong Magazine.
Linda and her partner have a weekly podcast where they discuss health, wellness, and everything in between. Look for “King Christian and Queen Linda” on iTunes, Spotify, and iHeart radio.
