53: Tips for Setting Actionable Goals and Taking Care of Yourself with Ashley Rice from The Lavender Lifestyle

Have you set any goals for the new year yet? Do you plan to make any small changes, or does your day-to-day keep you too busy to even think about all of that?

In this episode, my guest and I are talking about how to set goals for the new year and how to make the small changes you’ll need in order to achieve them.

Joining me this week is Ashley Rice from The Lavender Lifestyle. She and her sister, Jocelyn Gaddie, help women restore their hormone levels so they can tone up, boost energy, and love their bodies while balancing family life.

Ashley and Jocelyn are sisters, best friends, coaches, and most importantly, moms! Between the two, Ashley and Jocelyn have experienced it all: crazy on-the-go life, being a working mom, a stay-at-home mom, pregnancy fitness, postpartum fitness, fad diets, nutrition struggles, and more.

Both sisters are NASM certified personal trainers and certified Nutrition coaches who also hold a B.S in health and fitness management. In addition, Ashley has a B.S in nursing along with years of prior R.N. experience. The Lavender sisters created TLL Fit to help women step into their power and become who they were always meant to be, inside + out!

In Today’s Episode We Discuss:

  • Getting over the “all-or-nothing” attitude
  • How to avoid burnout by starting small
  • Why it’s so important to create actionable goals
  • Prioritizing self-care while you work through your goals
  • Tips for making progress toward actionable goals
  • Remembering that changes happen over time

This conversation with Ashley is so relatable which makes her tips and advice so helpful and encouraging. Make sure to check The Lavender Lifestyle out on their website and Instagram and remember to send a DM to them to talk about your personal journey!

If you are struggling, make sure that you have someone that is helping you. This could be a provider, a coach, a friend, or anyone that would be by your side to help you or hold you accountable. This will make reaching your goals and staying motivated so much easier.
